Metro 1 Community Launches New Initiative

We are living in unprecedented times, which calls for unprecedented action from us all!

Today we are proud to announce the official launch of the Metro 1 Community Fund. Metro 1 Community, the philanthropic arm of Metro 1, is on a mission to positively impact the urban core businesses and communities in Miami in order to help them become more resilient and sustainable.

We need your help: Small businesses across Miami-Dade County are suffering due to COVID19 shutdowns. Those in our beloved neighborhood of LittleHaiti are some of those suffering the most.

Metro 1, along with the United Way Miami, Miami Foundation, Branches, My Black Professional Network, SantLaHaitian, and Haitian Neighborhood Center has put together a relief fund that will give micro-grants to the business owners and their employees who call Little Haiti “Home.”
